LLANGOLLEN TOWN COUNCIL
ELECTIONS – MAY 2017
The time has come where nominations are being sought from people willing to stand for election to Llangollen Town Council. Your local council is very active and you may wish to be involved, everyone has something to offer.
The Town Council is responsible for the Town Hall, the Recreation ground, Pen y Bryn Cemetery, the War Memorial and Royal Gardens, the Chain Bridge, various bus shelters and seats, the town’s winter and summer floral displays, Christmas illuminations and the towns CCTV system.
We are also embarking on a number of major, and exciting, projects; the creation of a new town square and the refurbishment and extension of the Town Hall. In addition there are the statutory duties such as planning consultations and other representative roles that have to be considered.
